SAR Program Director Natalie Runge was recently awarded Lead Evaluator status for Human Remains Detection (HRD) with American Rescue Dog Association (ARDA)!
Natalie has worked hard to certify two dogs (K9 Oliver and K9 Everest) under ARDA's Land HRD requirements and one (K9 Oliver) under ARDA's Water HRD certification process.

For those looking to complete the Land HRD Certification process, it consists of four components:
Indication Evaluation
Above Ground Evaluation
Buried Evaluation
Urban Evaluation
ARDA is the third-party evaluation standard Mid-Minnesota K9 uses for our HRD dogs, in addition to our internal training benchmarks for K9s and their handlers to complete to be considered deployable.
If you'd like to schedule training or an evaluation through ARDA in Minnesota, contact Natalie at natalie@midmnk9.com.
